Meet Poppy!

At 10 years young, Poppy is a spayed female tabby with plenty of personality and love to give. She’s up to date on her vaccines, dewormed, and ready to find a home of her own.

Since arriving in the care of the NHS in early November 2025 as a stray, Poppy has shown herself to be an outgoing, delightfully quirky girl. She adores basking in warm sun puddles, nibbling on fresh cat grass, scratching to her heart’s content on her scratching post, and chasing wand toys with surprising enthusiasm.

Like many independent ladies, Poppy prefers to be the only cat in the spotlight. Shelter life wasn’t her ideal setting, but in a foster home with one of her favorite volunteers, she’s truly come into her own. There, she’s shown just how happy and relaxed she can be.

Poppy is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with no other pets—a peaceful place where she can fully enjoy her golden years. She’ll thrive with guardians who understand feline quirks and appreciate her unique way of showing affection. Poppy gives love in her own special way, with gentle licks and the occasional “love bite”—never to hurt, just her way of sharing excitement and connection.

If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind companion with charm, character, and a whole lot of heart, Poppy might just be your perfect match.
