What is the PAWsome People Pack?
Members include shelter and foster volunteers, thrift store volunteers, fundraising & community events volunteers, the Board of Directors and community volunteers. To show our appreciation, the NHS hosts events throughout the year, such a Holiday Dinner in December and a fun summer BBQ in the summer.
Membership of the PAWsome People Pack has it benefits, too!
Each volunteer receives a “PPP” pin, starting out with a pewter pin for those with 1 to 5 years of service. Following that is the silver pin, for those with 6 to 10 years. Longtime volunteers who have been with us 10 years or more, are presented with a gold pin for their dedication to helping the animals who need us the most.
Another membership perk that everyone loves - discounts!
Volunteers are given a “PPP” membership card that entitles them to 50% discount at the NHS Thrift Store and 25% off adoption fees at the Shelter!
