Part-Time (20 hrs/week) – Cobourg, ON
Wage: $17.60/hour to start, with an increase after 3 months

The Northumberland Humane Society is seeking a compassionate, hardworking Animal Care Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will help care for shelter animals and support daily operations.
Responsibilities include:
Feeding, cleaning, and general care of animals
Assisting with adoptions and public inquiries
Maintaining sanitary and humane conditions
Bathing, grooming, exercising, and monitoring animal health
Following all safety and shelter procedures
Qualifications:
Genuine compassion for animals
Animal care experience an asset
Good communication and customer service skills
Must have a valid driver’s licence
Grade 12 education (or equivalent)
Weekend work required
