Rotary Club of Northumberland Sunrise Donates $6000 to Northumberland Humane Society
Northumberland County, ON - The Rotary Club of Northumberland Sunrise is pleased to be able to donate $6000.00 to the Northumberland Humane Society. The donation is dedicated to supporting the costs associated with the care of kittens during the busy 'kitten season.'
Every year, the Northumberland Humane Society faces an influx of kittens that require extensive care, including medical attention, nourishment, and temporary housing. The funds provided by the Rotary Club of Northumberland Sunrise will significantly alleviate these financial burdens, ensuring that the Humane Society can continue to provide life-saving care to these vulnerable animals.
Denise O’Brien, President of the Rotary Club of Northumberland Sunrise, expressed her enthusiasm and support for the initiative: "We are thrilled to contribute to such a vital cause. The Northumberland Humane Society does remarkable work in our community, and it is our honor to assist them in providing care for kittens during this critical time. Our club is dedicated to making a positive impact, and we believe that supporting animal welfare is an essential part of community service."
The Rotary Club of Northumberland Sunrise is a dedicated group of individuals committed to community service and improving lives locally and globally. Through various charitable initiatives, the club strives to address pressing issues and support organizations that make a difference.
