We’d like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Pet Valu and Paulmac’s Pets for their incredible ongoing support.
Over the past five years, these dedicated community partners have raised more than $120,000 for the Northumberland Humane Society through in-store fundraising events and donation campaigns.

Their commitment — and the generosity of their customers in Cobourg, Port Hope, and Campbellford — have made a lasting difference in the lives of countless animals.

Cookies 4 Paws – A Sweet Success!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Cookies 4 Paws fundraiser this fall! With your help (and Lucy from Roda’s Kitchen’s amazing baking skills), we raised over $3,000 to help animals in our care. Every box of cookies helped provide food, shelter, and medical care — and your generosity made it happen. 💚

Paws 4 Claus

We’re spreading holiday cheer (and wagging tails) this December as the NHS joins the local Santa Claus Parades with our walking group, Paws 4 Claus!

Grab your Santa hats, festive sweaters, and maybe a jingle bell or two — we’d love for you and your furry friends to walk with us! It’s a fun, festive way to celebrate the season and show your support for the animals who make our lives brighter.
