A September to Remember!

What an incredible month it has been for the Northumberland Humane Society. Thanks to our community of animal lovers, September was filled with amazing events, support, and exciting news.

⛳Putt4Paws – A Record-Breaking Success!

On September 10th, the Dalewood Golf Club hosted our annual Putt 4 Paws tournament — and thanks to our golfers, sponsors, donors, and volunteers, we are thrilled to announce we raised an incredible $30,000, surpassing our goal! These funds will go directly to veterinary care, shelter supplies, and supporting animals waiting for their forever homes.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on the course and helped make this year’s tournament such a success.

🎡 Port Hope Fair

We had so much fun meeting families and animal lovers at the Port Hope Fair this month! We had such a great time hosting the Children’s Pet Show once again this year. Thank you to Justin’s Pet Store for sponsoring the fantastic prizes, to everyone who took part, stopped by to say hello, learn more about our work, and support the animals in our care!
